Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

visualage smalltalk

finds documents containing 'visualage' or 'smalltalk'

visualage or smalltalk

same as above

visualage and smalltalk

finds documents containing both 'visualage' and 'smalltalk'

visualage not smalltalk

finds documents containing 'visualage' but not 'smalltalk'

(visualage not smalltalk) and WBPro

finds documents containing 'WBPro', plus 'visualage' but not 'smalltalk'

st*

finds documents containing words starting with 'st'
